Until now, the nearest businesses operating on a resale/vendor model were located either outside of St. Louis County, or within the county in depressed neighborhoods. Valley Park Resale and Flea Market is located on Hwy 141 at Marshall Road, only 1/4 mile North of Hwy 44. We are within easy reach of all St. Louis County, and regularly have customers from 150+ miles away thanks to easy access to highways 44, 270, 44 and 141.
The store is open six days a week (closed Sundays), and offers warm and dry indoor shopping. We invite you to stop by and check out the great variety of items in our store -- a collection that is ever-changing as vendors restock their stores. Our agreement with vendors prohibits items that can give markets a black eye; bootleg and counterfeit items, pornography and alcohol aren't welcome in our store creating a family-friendly environment.
We aren't the largest resale store by far, but we do offer a unique opportunity for our vendors. Rental on booth spaces is less expensive than many of the weekend-only markets, and our commission for booth rentors is low. We staff the store so that you don't have to, and we handles all sales tax, advertising, and promotion. Sellers are able to decorate in creative ways, making each booth a small store in its own right. We provide our sellers with a monthly sales report, including confirmation of which items sold.
If you have ever considered renting a booth at an area flea market or vendor mart, we encourage you to check us out, see what's different and how our unique story can be transformed into your story.
Customers benefit from an ongoing rewards program, where purchases made during the year will result in a store credit worth 10% of their purchases. This is above the great values you already find shopping in a resale environment.
The owners of Valley Park Resale and Flea Market desire to serve the Lord through this business, and want to relate to our customers and vendors in a manner that is worthy of our Christian calling. We would hope that all whom we are able to meet and all whom we do business would be aware of the calling that we live out in this place. We are closed on Sundays in order to worship, and then to rest with our families. Managing and building a small business is exciting, rewarding -- even fun! -- and we have seen many ways that the living God has been involved in various ways in the life of our store. To Him we give glory and praise!
We look forward to meeting you soon!
Susan, Diana, Wes and Brett
